VCERT Quality Certification Private Limited, hereinafter referred to as VCERT, was incorporated on 21/06/2022, to provide accredited organic certification. VCERT is accredited as per ISO/IEC 17065:2012 requirements for certification bodies by NABCB (National Accreditation Board for Certification Bodies). VCERT also applied for accreditation complying with the National Program for Organic Production (NPOP) of India. More.
Collaboration
VCERT is offering certification for cosmetic products in collaboration with EcoControl, Germany, as per Natrue standards. EcoControl is an inspection and certification body for ecological products and quality assurance systems in the non-food sector. EcoControl has experience in these areas since 2001. Eco Control has collaborated only with VCERT in India to offer certification and approval for cosmetic products. VCERT conducts inspections on behalf of Eco Control, and the compliance certificate will be issued by Eco Control. The scope of certification includes cosmetic products, raw materials, and formulations. Operators who want to market their cosmetic products as organically certified should comply with the requirements of the Natrue standards. NATRUE is the strictest standard, since minimum proportions of natural raw materials for natural cosmetics have to be proven in the certified products.
