Organic Certification
COR- Application Submitted To IOAS For The Scopes

Operators can apply Vcert to obtain organic certification for various sectors, including crop production, aquaculture production and food processing in accordance with the Canadian Organic Regulations (COR). The regulations require that products labeled as organic or those traded across provinces or internationally, must be certified according to the updated Canadian Organic Standards.
These products must meet the following requirements, as applicable:
- Crop Production Certification (CAN/CGSB-32.310 – 2020) and Organic Production Systems – Permitted Substances List – COR/CG SB-32.311-2020.
Operators engaged in organic crop production, food processing and feed processing can apply for certification to ensure they are following organic farming principles and management practices.
- Aquaculture Certification (CAN/CGSB-32.312 – 2018) and Organic Production Systems – Permitted Substances List – COR/CG SB-32.311-2020.
For operators involved in organic aquaculture production systems (crops) and aquaculture processing, this certification ensures that the products are produced according to organic principles.
