EU Compliance – Application Submitted To IOAS For The Scopes

1. 1. Category C – Algae and unprocessed aquaculture products – Individual operators,
   2. Category D – Processed agricultural products including aquaculture products for use as food,
   3. Category E – Feed

Under EU regulation 848/2018, operators in aquaculture production (algae and unprocessed aquaculture products), Food processing and handling (including Aquaculture processing), Feed processing and handling can apply for organic certification by meeting the standard set by EU commission to ensure sustainable practices, environmental protection and organic integrity throughout these sectors. This regulation outlines the requirements of organic practices, product labelling and certification processes, ensuring that products marketed as organic. To obtain certification operators can apply with Vcert, that is authorized to assess compliance with EU organic regulation.
